A series of informational lectures
In order to intensify work on monitoring the safety of the use of medicines, in December, the staff of the Pharmacovigilance Department conducted a series of informational lectures on the need to transmit information about cases of adverse reactions observed in clinical practice and the rules for effective data communication in the Yaroslavl region in Yaroslavl hospitals.
On December 12, a meeting was held on the basis of the State Medical Institution «Clinical Hospital No. 2», on December 13 — on the basis of the State Medical Institution «Infectious Clinical Hospital», on December 19, a meeting was held with the doctors of the State Medical Institution «Clinical Hospital No. 10».
The purpose of the events was to inform healthcare workers on all topical issues of Pharmacovigilance, on the organization of information collection in healthcare institutions and ways of transmitting Notifications to the authorized body.
The company’s employees, in agreement with the heads of organizations, delivered lectures covering previously asked questions with an emphasis on cases to be reported and the timing of their transfer.
The event should serve as a good help to all employees of medical institutions to build an effective pharmacovigilance system within the organization, as well as clarify all controversial points regarding the registration and sending of «Notices of adverse reactions or lack of therapeutic effect.»
